On 19 August 1999 Swiss Pakistan Society organised a reception in Neuchâtel for Pakistan and Swiss national hockey teams. The reception was hosted by H.E Tyyab Siddiqui (The Ambassador of Pakistan and the Patron of the Society) and Mr. Peter Niederberger (The President of the Society)

The guest of honour was Mr. Pierre Aubert, The former president of Switzerland and the member of the Swiss Federal Council.
