I am writing to you to solicit your support for the people of Swat and the adjacent areas who have left their abode to escape from terrorists and extremists.
In a brief span of time, they have lost their loved ones, their homes and their livelihoods.

While the Pakistani Government is making every effort to manage this grave humanitarian crisis, we need all international assistance to help over a million internally displaced people.

The Embassy of Pakistan in Berne is also actively involved in making efforts to collect donations for food and essential relief goods. In this context, we appeal to you to contribute generously to the following account in support of the Government of Pakistan's relief efforts for the victims to Terrorism in Pakistan.
